Join the INIC Team: Answers to Common Career Questions
We look for warm, professional educators who love young children and value structure, teamwork, and clear communication. Experience in early childhood is preferred, and comfort working in a fully Spanish-immersion environment is essential for classroom teaching roles.
Classroom lead and assistant teachers must be native or fluent Spanish speakers who can model accurate language throughout the day. Some support roles may not require Spanish fluency, but a willingness to value and protect our immersion environment is always expected.
INIC serves children from 3 months to 5 years. Placement depends on experience, strengths, and current openings. Many teachers specialize in infants and toddlers or PK3–PK4, while some are cross-trained to support multiple age groups when needed.
All staff receive a minimum of 72 hours of paid training per year, including CPR/First Aid, safety, curriculum, social-emotional practices, and classroom management. Coaching and observations are built into the year so teachers receive practical support, not just one-time workshops.
Benefits vary by role and hours but may include competitive pay, discounted or free childcare, paid time off, and eligibility for health benefits. Full-time employees can qualify for 80% off childcare tuition from day one and 100% after one year of service for ages 0–5.
Most teaching positions are full-time with consistent weekday schedules that align with school hours. Occasional evening events or training days may be required with advance notice. We focus on predictable routines so teachers and children can settle into a stable rhythm.
Campuses are designed to be calm, clean, and well-organized. Leadership teams are on-site, class ratios are intentional, and planning time is scheduled. Feedback from teachers matters, and many policy and procedural improvements come directly from staff input.
Yes. Many team members grow from assistant to lead teacher, then into mentor or leadership roles. Ongoing training, observations, and internal promotions are part of our long-term plan to help strong educators build stable careers within the INIC organization.
We accept applications for both campuses. Open roles vary throughout the year, so candidates can indicate a preferred location or openness to either. We match applicants with the campus that best fits their commute and experience.
